Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon: The Must-Do Activities

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon: What to do when you get there?

Situated in southeast Iceland, Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon that shares a boundary with Vatnajökull National Park. Icebergs from the nearby Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, which is a portion of the larger Vatnajökull Glacier, are scattered across the tranquil, blue seas. Chunks of ice are left on a beach with black sand as the Glacier Lagoon empties into the Atlantic Ocean via a brief canal. The fish-filled lagoon is home to hundreds of seals throughout the winter.

Great walk to the cave. Inside the cave, the colours are intense, just amazing.
The trip was very beautiful. it was a bit of a disappointment for me that we spent almost an hour and a half in the car during the three-hour trip. As a result, the trip to the ice cave and the viewing was a lot shorter than expected. I also expected to walk a bit on the glacier, given that the description stated that we would get spikes and ice spikes. But despite the above, it was a special experience that I can recommend to everyone
