Malaga: The Must-Do Activities

Malaga: What to do when you get there?

Pablo Picasso’s hometown Malaga is located at south of Spain, it boards with the western coastal end of the Mediterranean Sea and in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. It was founded by the Phoenicians in the VIII century BC, known as one of the oldest cities in Europe.

Malaga has a great environmental wealth. One of the landmarks of the area is Valle del Guadalhorce, a wide beautiful bay surrounded by the southern foothills of the Natural Park of Montes de Malaga. This is a transit point for hundreds of migratory species and noted for its great ecological value. Travellers come here to kayak in the bay and then trek in the Natural Park which houses more than 230 plant species and 160 vertebrates.

If you’re more of a sun & sand person, good news! The beaches are some of the most privileged ones in Costa del Sol. This gives you the opportunity to choose one between the 14km of coastline with incredible white sand. You can take lessons or reinforce your abilities on scuba diving, paddle surfing or even kiteboarding!

Even though it was the easier trail due to having a 10 year old in our group, it was such fun. Antonio was a great instructor.

Excellent fun- rafting was great. A mixture of calm, tranquil waters and some rapids.
