Practical information

Hike with an Alaskan Husky sled dog in the Saguenay forest for about 1.5 hours.

Course of events

- Welcome at the Alaskan du Nord base in the borough of La Baie

- Meeting with the team who will introduce you to the kennels and choose the dog best suited to your needs, abilities and expectations for the activity

- Preparation of the dog's harness, which will be attached to your backpack using a lead

- Departure for about 1.5 hours self-guided canine hike on the trails of the Saguenay forest

- Return to the base, thanks to your hiking partner and end of the activity

Activity requirements

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

Participants are welcome to take part in the activity with their own dog.

If needed, the team can arrange a transfer (round trip) from and to the La Baie bus terminal for $7: please contact Alaskan du Nord directly once your booking has been confirmed to arrange the transfer with the team.
