Practical information
Join a group and set off on a snowshoe hike near Vars la Forêt Blanche at sunset !
- Easy level.
- Small groups of 8 people max.
Course of events
Please allow 3.5 hours in total, including 3 hours of activity.
- Meet your guide at the Refuge Napoléon Vars.
- Equipment (snowshoes and hiking sticks).
- Briefing on how to use your snowshoes and poles.
- Start of the hike, easy climb with regular breaks.
- After sunset, you'll look for an ideal spot to build a fire with your guide.
- Enjoy a hot drink, with or without alcohol, around the fire.
- Fun descent with or without headlamp.
- Arrive back to the car park.
Activity requirements
You should be able to hike in the snow for 1 hour with regular breaks to take part in this activity.
Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of 5 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
People with motor disabilities and infants are not allowed to take part in the hike.
The duration and itinerary of this activity depend on the weather.
