Practical information

A sporting route that will enable you to discover a mountain range and climb to a summit at over 2400m. The objective will be determined together according to the best snow and weather conditions at the time.

Among the summits on offer: Le Gros Têt 2613m traverse, Le Paquier du Roi 2482m traverse, Col Nord du Pic Blanc du Galibier 2850m, La bosse de Robert 2400m, la Crète du Grand Vallon 2472m...

Course of events

Please allow a full day for this activity, including 8 to 9 hours of hiking with a few stops and a picnic break.

  • Meeting point to be determined. (In principle, 8.00 am).
  • You will be briefed by your experienced guide on the planned itinerary and safety instructions.
  • Outings with a maximum difference in altitude of 800 to 1000 metres.
  • Discover the natural and human environment with your enthusiastic guide.
  • Back to the starting point.
Activity requirements

Participants should be able to hike between 600 and 1000 metres for around 6 hours.


Special terms

Previous experience of snowshoe trekking is preferable.

We recommend that you take out personal accident insurance covering mountain sports at any altitude.

Don't forget to let us know if you are receiving any special treatment and/or are under medical supervision.

People with motor, mental/psychic or cognitive disabilities, infants and pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.

The duration and itinerary of this activity depend on the weather.
