Practical information
For this excursion, you will drive in pairs, one driver and one passenger on the snowmobile. You can switch during the ride.
* Please advise upon booking for any dietary restrictions.
*Look for the Active North bus.
- Please arrive at the meeting point in Tromsø 15 minutes in advance
- Drive to the camp in Skibotn (approximately 90 minutes)
- Receive safety briefing and driving lesson
- The snowmobiling adventure begins!
- Drive your snowmobile for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
- Return to the camp
- Enjoy a snack and hot drinks
- Return to Tromsø (approximately 17:35 pm)
Snowmobile drivers must hold a full, valid driver's license (original document).
In addition, kindly be advised that children must be accompanied by an adult.
* Please arrive at the meeting point in Tromsø 15 minutes in advance.
* During the Polar Night season (December/early January) the excursion will be conducted with a headlamp as it will be partially dark.
* In addition, please note that the itinerary is subject to change depending on availability. Some groups will start with lunch while others will start with the snowmobile ride and vise-versa.
