Practical information
This Open Water Diver course lasts for 4 days (can be completed in 3 days if needed). Throughout the course, you will complete 6 theoretical courses and 5 open water dives, learning how to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres (59 feet).
This course takes place over 3/4 days. The exact itinerary for each day will be arranged before the course.
- Arrive at the dive centre at Paradise Beach
- Meet the certified instructor
- Learn the theory
- At least one theoretical course per day
- 6 theoretical sessions in total in shallow waters to learn how to use the scuba gear
- At least one open water dive per day
- 5 open water dives in total at different dive sites around Mykonos
- Test on the final day
- Receive PADI Open Water Diver certificate
For this course, you must be in good physical health. Basic swimming skills are also required.
