Practical information

3 exploration dives on 3 of the sites out of the lagoon if possible, chosen according to your level

Course of events

- Meeting at 8.30 am with the instructor

- Go by boat for 15-20 minutes to the first chosen site out of the lagoon

- Safety briefing and final equipment preparation

- Launch and first dive for 50 minutes ~ 1 hour

- Re-boarding the boat around 11.30 am, then surface interval for 45 minutes in the Blue Bay

- Direction to the second chosen dive site (in the lagoon or outside) with another 50 minutes ~ 1 hour underwater

- Back on the boat around 1.30 pm, then a short break before leaving for the last dive site in the lagoon with 50 minutes ~ 1 hour underwater

- Back on the boat around 4.30 pm, then back to Pointe Jerome

Activity requirements

To have obtained a Level 1 certification minimum.

To be in reasonable physical health (a medical form will be given to all divers to fill in before activity).

A minimum of 3 divers is required to dive out of the lagoon.

Special terms

The activity and the schedule can be modified according to the tide, the weather and the sea conditions.

Scuba World Diving Mauritius reserves the right not to take in charge any person who does not meet the physical conditions for diving (respiratory problems, etc.).

The local federal form of the Mauritius Scuba Diving Association (MSDA) which is Rs 200: the form is to be filled and paid only at the time of the 1st dive on the island and is then valid for 2 months on Mauritius and Rodrigues Island.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
