Practical information

Basic sea kayak training and safety instructions upon arrival. The kayak departure is from the marina of L'Anse-Saint-Jean, the first colonized village of the Saguenay.

You will have a view of the majestic Caps Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité. Afterwards, a lunch break at L'Anse Aimable.

At Cap Trinité, you will sail along cliffs reaching dizzying heights. You will reach the other side of the fjord to meet the harbour seals.

On the way back, you'll see a whole new side of the Saguenay with the islands of Saint-Louis and Saint-Barthélémy. Experiencing the fjord from the water's edge, in complete tranquility, is the best way to discover the wild beauty of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park.

Distance of the kayak excursion: 18 to 25 km
