Practical information
Full-day rafting trip on the Gave d'Ossau, including a 4-hour descent with a professional instructor.
- Section: Buzy - Oloron-Sainte-Marie (one of the most beautiful descents in the Western Pyrenees).
- Level: Sportive. Beginners accepted, but you'll have to paddle hard!
- Rafts for 4 to 7 people.
Course of events
Please allow 5.5 hrs in total for this activity, including around 4 hours of rafting.
- Meet at Hérrère airfield.
- Welcome and equipment set-up.
- Shuttle bus to the launch point.
- Briefing by your instructor on the activity, equipment and safety rules.
- Launching the boats.
- A 4-hour white water rafting trip between Buzy and Oloron-Sainte-Marie.
- Return of equipment and debriefing.
Activity requirements
You need to know how to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.
