Take a ride on the wild side and experience the thrill of Arctic dog sledding in Abisko, Sweden!
Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the small village of Abisko is located in the Arctic Circle and has an incredible, winter backdrop of nature at its finest. Dog sledding in Abisko is a must-do adventure as you traverse through the remote wilderness, taking in the scenery that surrounds you and your pack of sled dogs.
As your guide drives the sled, you will be able to enjoy the experience and the scenery around you. While on the dog sled, feel free to take photos and videos. As it can be quite chilly in the Arctic, you’ll get a chance to have a small break during the tour to warm up and pet the dogs.
Back at the camp after a 2-hour ride, you will be able to help the guide in the dog yard to unharness the dogs and walk them back to their homes. You’ll be sure to make some unforgettable memories and some new canine friends!

Practical information
Sit back and enjoy being pulled by dogs through the snow! The guide will drive the sled so all you have to worry about is making sure you're camera-ready to take incredible images of the majestic, surrounding nature around you.
Meet 15 minutes before start of tour.
In December and January, the afternoon tours will end in total darkness. There is a good chance to see the northern lights!
Free transportation from STF Abisko Mountain Station can be arranged with your instructor after the booking is confirmed.
