Fly over magnificent natural Icelandic sites and land on the Þórisjökull glacier during a panoramic helicopter flight!

Fly over magnificent natural Icelandic sites and land on the Þórisjökull glacier during a panoramic helicopter flight!

On arrival at Reykjavik domestic airport, you'll meet your pilot who will accompany you on this helicopter flight to the Þórisjökull glacier. Once the safety instructions have been given, you'll set off on your 80-minute adventure in the air aboard an AS350 B2 Ecureuil helicopter with seating for 5 passengers or an Airbus EC130 with 6 seats.

You'll admire Langjokull, the country's 2nd largest glacier, and Thórisjökull, a small glacier and volcano in west-central Iceland, with a peak culminating at 1350m. These two sites are covered in ice all year round, offering a unique panorama in both summer and winter!

Set foot on a glacier and smell the fresh Arctic air! Walk on the fresh snow and enjoy this special moment for 15 minutes. You'll then head back to the air base, while admiring the dormant crater of the Skjaldbreiðu volcano, the Þingvellir national park and the city of Reykjavik... You'll discover some magnificent scenery during this 80 to 100min helicopter flight!

Don't miss this 80 to 100-minute helicopter flight and landing on the Þórisjökull glacier, a unique experience you won't want to miss!
