Windsurfing lessons in Naxos

Laguna Beach Park offers windsurfing courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced windsurfers. Whatever your level, you will love windsurfing in the lagoon's warm waters with the wind never stops blowing. Your instructors
Your instructor Stamatis is a worshipper of extreme sports practicing windsurfing since the age of 16. He is a several times champion in Greece and has participated in various international competitions. He and Georg are some of the best instructors to teach you the basics of windsurfing, or to teach you new tricks if you are a free rider. They will make you feel at ease and with patience, they will make you love windsurfing as much as they do.

The spot
The spot is ideal for windsurfing. The station is in front of the lagoon on a small hill. The beach is sandy and as it is a lagoon the water is quite shallow. It is an ideal spot for both beginners and free riders. The beginners have their own point to waterstart so they don't get mixed with the free riders. The good thing is that in Naxos you have the "Meltemi" wind which blows all summer from the late morning till early night.

The equipment
In the station, you can find the best equipment by Tabou-Gaastra Vandal and MA boards. There is also beginner equipment for the ones who take their first steps.

The courses
Beginner - There is a theoretical lesson for beginners to get familiar with windsurfing and learn what windsurfing is about, and there is a full course of 6 hours to learn the basics of windsurfing and reach an intermediate level which allows you to use the sails and go downwind, upwind and turn. Thus you can do your own planning and ride the waves!

Intermediate - If you are an intermediate windsurfer you know how to ride, but when the wind gets too strong it blows you away. To avoid this you need to learn new manoeuvres and tricks to reach the ultimate performance with your sail. This is the opportunity to improve and be an awe-inspiring windsurfer.

Advanced - Everybody can have some tutoring to improve his technique. With a video analysis and personal tutoring, you will be the freestyle rider you wanna be.
