Stand Up Paddling is a fun activity that you can take up in Ikaria with the help of Ikaria Surf School.

Stand Up Paddle in Ikaria should be on the top of your to-do list while on the island. A fun filled activity to take a tour when the water is flat, or to ride the waves as SUP surfing. SUP is ideal for everyone - no previous experience required!

Ikaria Surf School offers the ideal SUP lessons to help you stand on the board and paddle around. You will learn how to stabilise yourself and paddle with the right technique so you don't get exhausted. All this with the help of your expert instructor.

For the experienced Suppers, there are SUP wave riding lessons offered to learn how to ride the waves. For this kind of lesson a previous experience is required as it can be quite difficult to SUP surf.

Practical information

SUP lesson on Flat Water

Flat courses are held on non-windy days, and are ideal for beginners to get familiar with balance and movement on the board.

You shall have a 15-minutes lesson of a fun theory and practice combo before the sup renting

You will have a consulting session at the end of your flat supping experience.

Special terms

SUP is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow you to have your lesson you can reschedule for the following day.
