It is an unmissable experience for lovers of caving and geological wonders.
For your caving excursion around the lava tunnels of Ilha do Pico, you'll need to arrive at the Tripix Azores offices in Madelena, 5 to 10 minutes before your time of departure. Once you're ready, you'll be transported to the starting point of the experience, and start hiking towards the lava tunnels.
Then, it's time for the adventure to start! Explore the interior of the lava caves, and get to know the unique lava formations and bacteria in a path made of black lava from the eruptions of the island's volcanos!
