You will start your dog sledding and snowshoeing excursion in Kleinwalsertal by meeting your instructor and their lovely huskies at the husky camp. There, around a cosy campfire, they will teach you how to brake, steer, and pedal your dog-sled and give you some time to practice without the dogs. Once you feel confident maneuvering the dog sleigh, it’s time to harness your four-legged friends and explore the winter wonderland around Klenwalsertal! Together with your instructor, you’ll set up the sleigh as a team and start your incredible dog sledding excursion in Kleinwalsertal. Alternating between driver and passenger with the other members of your group, you’ll speed along the charming trails of Kleinwalsertal and experience the great Arctic tradition of mushing!
After a well-deserved break, the second part of this winter adventure will start: snowshoeing with huskies! For a unique twist to this classic winter activity, you will wear a waist belt attached to a leash so that your husky hiking buddy can accompany you in your hour long snowshoe adventure. Your furry friend will help propel you and another guest (two guests per husky) through the snow for a snowshoe hike like no other to finish off your winter day adventure in the Austrian Alps!

4.5 hour dog sledding and snowshoeing excursion in the Austrian Alps, in Kleinwalsertal. The activity includes time to bond with the huskies, instruction on how to drive a dog sled, driving on a dog sled trail, and showshoeing while attached to a husky.

Participants under 18 can only do the activity with an accompanying person, at an extra charge of 79€ in cash on site. The accompanying person is on-site the whole day and takes part in the snowshoe tour, without the dog).
